If they realised and accepted their niche, they would have continued to bring out all sorts of bangers; so many of which are still loved and appreciated.

The nostalgia from that logo is overwhelming.

You have to admit their pyramid scheme film productions worked well for awhile.

Lifeforce was a decent flick though.

It's a shame Cannon films failed.

It presented Superman 4 internationally, and the American cut was presented in 1987 by Warner Brothers.

Oliver Harper is the absolute best movie retro-reviewer on the planet! I've learned more about the old classics I love listening to him than I have from all the other media altogether! I didn't know this was something I wanted until he came along!

Cannon and Carolco? Forget how to spell it. Both had such iconic logos

I truly believe that if a studio offered oliver the chance to write/script a superman movie or comic (with the image of Christopher reeves) he would probably be the happiest chris reeves fan ever!!!

Seen many a movie at the old abandoned cannon cinema where i live in the 80s and 90s! The logo and the little tune is very nostalgic šŸ˜

I miss all the studios we use to have. Especially the lower budget ones šŸ˜¢

Their biggest financial loss ever was probably Roman Polanski's Pirates in 1986 which cost $40 million and was a total disaster.

Masters of the Universe is one of my guilty pleasure films. I saw it in theaters when I was a kid. I actually dont think its all that bad. If youre a fan of He-Man, youll probably enjoy it.

Fans of Cannon should watch the 2 documentaries about the company. The Go-Go Boys. And Electric Boogaloo (this is better one in my opinion. A real fun watch).

Watched Over the Top countless of times as a kid and I'm surprised it didn't do good at the box office.
