Would you ever consider on showing the bag of beans you’re brewing in these type of vids? I think it would be kinda neat if you did some like captions of what you taste out of them as well.

Love my Bianca, got it last fall and wouldn't trade it for anything. The joy of having driven such a great "manual shot" can, as far as I am concerned, not be topped by that of running an optimized, programmed sequence. That doesn't mean I wouldn't love to play with a Decent for a while, but I personally derive much more pleasure from the kind of shot you demonstrated here. I'm dealing with computers and software enough from 9 to 5 😅

I have a whole flow control, pid on my Gaggia. Lately I have been doing a one notch courser grind but slowing down the flow to where is still lands about 30-35 seconds for 51g out (23.5g in). My wife really seems to like the shot. I love being able to play with the flow control. I have also been doing a 10sec preinfusion (or maybe a bloom according to your other video)

I want to upgrade my Ascaso Duo to something with flow control in a few years. Maybe like 4 years from now (my Ascaso is fairly new). I really like lowering the pressure/flow halfway through the shot like I can on my Flair 58. So maybe I go for the Lelit Bianca or go all out and buy a Decent

I have the same machine since yesterday. If i use flow control it shoots to 10bar, even if i move the pedal slowly. Also the shot messes my whole kitchen😅 My first Machine bt

Curious if you’re finding the extra control on the Decent giving you noticeably unique shots vs using the flow control. Or do you feel like you can close enough w the flow control only? I have a Synchronika w flow control and find it very finicky and hard to be consistent shot to shot.

I love that machine but something I'm really wondering is if my mom is really using it not correctly or if its just made differently than most E61 machines as even though the pump pressure is always at 9.0Bar, the group head pressure rarely ever go above 6Bar for some reasons 🤔
On my R58 my pump is at 8.5 and i always get between 8.0 to 8.8 on the grouphead depending on the grind size

I have the Bianca, don't you damage the puck if you go full flow the first few seconds ? Myself I start with minimal flow till the puck is at 9 bars, then I put full flow.
