I'm a new grower here in the north east and it has definitely been challenging to get new customers. They either have existing ones or I have to literally give them 20 different samples before they decide. Still not going to give up. I'm only two months in. I'm figuring it's going to take another six months until I have solid clientele. I read in one of your comments or it could've been a video that you guys were no longer selling microgreens? Are you just concentrating on consulting and YouTube? Have you guys thought about freeze drying your micro greens and then making it into a powder? The reason why I am thinking this would be a great product is because a lot of people are focused on quick nutritional green drinks. Freeze drying (lyophilization) is the best method to stabilize and capture minerals. Dehydrating will cause oxidation and will actually be very little benefit left in the microgreen. The machines are quite pricey for quality. Food for thought🌱

Microgreens have been a hard sell in my area due to the high costs of living right now. Last year was a better year for sales. Growing, packaging, and selling organic microgreens is not cheap. Consumers don't realize this when they can get microgreens for $3 at Trader Joes.

Like most food based businesses that I have been in. I'm sticking to one type of microgreen and getting comfortable enough in growing that. The biggest fail I think you can do starting any food based business is by offering more options than you can grow.

microgreens go moldy fast so you need strong logistics and margins to keep stock rotating.

Here is a longer question for you. Fact it might be better for us to actually talk. Long story short I'm planning on joining the farmer's market next year to sell all my ferments. And I was thinking about adding microgreens to the list. Do you have any tips and advice on how to get everything going

Bacteria free seeds need to be factored into the production costs of micro-greens
