Question: This seems to assume that one is absorbing all of the beta carotene from the carrots, but doesn't that depend on factors, such as how much fat is eaten with it?

if you want to get vitamine A from carrots it is going to require 2,250 grams of it to get the beta carotene enough to be equivalent to 100g of beef liver, which is much more appropriate to our health, while dr baker could get his vitamine A from just butter which would be healthy and delicious beyound just the vitamine A. If you think just 0.900 is enough you are wrong just remembering that a bear's liver has 3 million mcg of vitamin A is enough to reconsider how much we need.

The rates at which you can convert carotenoids to retinol are wildly variable however, some people certainly will not get enough vitamin A on a vegan diet, and some cannot convert at all

Can you get enough from beef? Because he is promoting eating beef muscle meat. You almost never heard him talk about liver.

Dr Chaffee is a monster to try and debate. You only play a small clip. He explains everything in its entirety and has studies to back them up. Especially the part where vegans love to compare animal and plant protein overall. Hopefully he responds back to you. He would be one that would put you on his podcast actually which would be amazing ๐Ÿ‘
