Yep, the longer you wait to investigate, the more likely it is that circumstances can change or other excuses can arise to muddy the waters. Good work on getting this done as quickly as possible!

Such intellectual clarity and speedy action are essential in a situation where "time is of the essence."

You are a terrific role model. Good for us all to see how things SHOULD be done.

Time is not your friend when it comes to evidence gathering as some evidence can be destroyed by accident. In this case, if Rafi gave them time the safety switch would have been fixed by the time discovery rolled around.

It's important to get he experts involved as soon as possible. Even in a long process in the courts, having the evidence that the expert provides early one will have saved you time and effort in defending the client.

Quick work otherwise the opposing side's Attorney begins to influence their client to destroy key evidence, key witnesses tainted/move away, etc. CSi type investigation work in the beginning.

And then people complain about lawyers being expensive, but i wouldn't want a lawyer that isn't gonna spend the money they need to win

Circumstances and people's remembrance of those circumstances can be very fickle sometimes. It's that case study of the woman who got her bag stolen from her in broad daylight and multiple onlookers had completely different recall of the event

He’s telling the truth! He’s doing it to benefit and protect the client who was innocent.
He waited. The defense would’ve said that was not the conditions six months ago when The machine was working properly and he wouldn’t be able to prove otherwise. in addition, they could’ve fixed the machine after the accident and cover up the defect
