The one thing with the ROG Ally is I wish it came with at least 8 more gigs of ram. So when you did up the GPU ram allocation you still have 16 left or you can up it to 12 gigs for GPU use.

Thanks for the info, I have spares so I sanded a side down and it no longer touches the heat pipe. I haven’t dented it, I just have a tiny chip mark in the black paint

Haven’t had this issue. My heat sink had about a millimeter of clearance by the heat pipe

Those are the same small crappy nvme ssd's they put in cheap laptops. It doesn't need a heatsink, they never have a heatsink on them.

It’s not a mod and isn’t needed especially since there’s no airflow and the drive doesn’t get very hot or hot enough to require a heatsink.
