This also means if you power your ESP32 DOIT Devkit at Vin pin with 12V, you get 12V on your USB side, make sure your ESP32 is not powered via Vin when programming via cable

The schottky diode might also cause a voltage drop when using Vin to power something like a lcd display
So if ur only using the usb port for power
Replace it with a solder blob
I blew mine up when i accidentally connected my lcd power backwards
