You are so right, sis. I know this is a clip but wanted to add thah the devil will plant the dreams even if we aren't trying to get back with the ex. We don't have go fantasize but if we are dreaming about the ex, waking up and not canceling or rebuking the dreams, the devil can also use that as if we consented in the spiritual realm and keep suggesting thoughts of the ex, upping the ante until we start taking it and dwelling on it ourselves to produce hus intended result, sin. I personally had a guy who i broke up with because he really just wanted to have sex. He purposefully got with another girl to make me jealous but ended up having to marry her and was still trying to be my friend until i ended that too. I didn't want anything to do with him but wished his new family well (they had a baby soon after) but the dreams about him were so oppressive and frequent way after distancing nyself! I had already moved away, blocked him on all social media but when i had periods of feeling really alone, especially near my period I noticed it was the devil's strategy to plant thoughts of him and our times together and dreams about him while im minding my business. I thank God I didnt sleep with thr man because i beleive the attacks would have been worst! So many times having to repent and rebuke it. So to be clear, we can rebuke the devil and cast him out but we cant cast ourselves out. We need to know where we end and begin to cosign with our flesh and the devil. Because many times i was repenting thinking it was all me in my subconcious maybe some unresolved issue until i noticed that pattern (i knew i had already forgiven and had peace about the godly boundaries) and realized the devil was also at work. These days i know unless the Lord is leading me to pray for him (which the Lord led me to do a few times regarding his new family), any other dreams about his are usually from the devil.
