I agree that Puerto Rico should be independent. Let the people be responsible for their own destiny. Then the U.S. wouldn't have to spend millions of dollars for hurricane relief and rebuild their infrastructure. PR citizens don't have to pay federal income tax. It would be a win/win for PR. and the U.S.
