WORLD EXCLUSIVE...yesterday Hezbollah, the group tagged a terrorist organisation by western media and some governments, granted me the first interview given in 12 years to a member of the western media. Not since 2006 has any member of Hezbollah spoken or been interviewed by a western journalist or film crew. I was deeply honoured. In Lebanon the group is a legitimate political party and has never undertaken any aggressive acts outside Lebanon other than in defence of Lebanese borders. My interview with one of the founders of the Party, Mr Mohammad Fneish, who is also the Minister for Youth & Sport in the Lebanese Government, came after more than 18 months of requests. Excuse my broken Arabic in the video. This was a very important interview for my documentary to maintain an independent and unbiased perspective and incorporate all viewpoints into my film about Lebanon.
