Our brains and bodies, as parts of reality, are part of a single consciousness, known as fundamental consciousness. The ideas and emotions experienced by the universal mind, in which we are all immersed, are presented to us in the form of the world we see, hear, touch, taste and smell. Form and substance are a function of our perception of the dynamic interactions within the quantum continuum. Nature and reality are represented by the quantum state, where the electromagnetic field of the quantum state is the fundamental entity, the continuum that constitutes the basic unit of all things. What we perceive as mass are oscillating patterns of energy, a frenetic subatomic electromagnetic activity that can be known by an observing mind. Imagination is one of the primary faculties of the mind because it has absolute priority over all elements of consciousness, shaping the external world of the senses into the image of the habitual inner speech and actions of each individual. For mystics, the objects of imagination are the realities of which the physical manifestation is only the witness. In this sense, since every movement of the mind or consciousness precedes any external movement, we can use the power of our imagination to shape our reality.
