'Once more in the breech, once more' - Shakespeare's Henry V

Yes, this is the scene Shakespeare was referring to.

This was a very tough battle for the English. And this came before their legendary victory at Agincourt.

Gotta make sure you're reading your stage direction during the siege

Lancastrians always fought and conquered while the Yorks always provoked, destroyed themselves, and lost all the progress made by Lancastrians.

I never thought to set up a gate like that. I always thought they would be jutting out or held back inside more. This just is practical and makes sense.

It's actually really easy to stop seige machine, as it needs plain, just pain enough for it to roll, also it's made out of wood, use oil.

In every siege the attackers always win if the fortress does not have reinforcements from outside

Much more interesting would be the siege of melun. And bauge. Since these were almost not talked about. Make a Video about these too! Not always these that are already known and featured in so many videos/Docs.

It only shows how important is the use of siege equipment. Had the english not have it, they would most likely loose.
