The storm one should be taken with a massive grain of salt for value. The $55 for ice storm is only because ice storm hasnât been reprinted, not because of playability reasons. If you look at any unlimited card, they are priced significantly higher than say their reprinted counterparts of similar cards that see little to no play. Once these drops hit, ice storm from this set is going to be only a few bucks if that since again, it doesnât see play anywhere nor is it going to suddenly just because more are available.

These are poor estimations. 1) you don't include any value for the new creatures and 2) Just looking at Sol Ring alone, you don't give it any value since the cheapest printing is worth very little, but if you look at the cheapest Sol Ring Secret Lair is ~$7.

I wouldnât put stock in Ice Storm. Look at the drop for Goblin Settler. It had been a 40 USD card, and while the original printing from Starter 1999 is still ~10 USD (but look at the 75% decrease in value), itâs entirely propagated by scarcity as the more abundant Secret Lair version is only 3 USD, which is very low for Secret Lair cards in general so not a headliner for the lair. Neither Ice Storm or Goblin Settler see much play anywhere and I will take the data to interpolate that Ice Storm from the lair will not be nearly as expensive as the original version and both will drop heavily.

So long as the secret card isn't command tower, too, there mught be some spicy value cards in the secret slot. Although, that is negligible. It will most likely be a $5 alt art themed command tower.

I really hope I can get my hands on all of these, I've loved Marvel since watching the Spider-Man animated show in the 90s, I still go to opening day of the movies. Would suck to not only miss out on a cool new deck like Storm but also something that means so much to me because of scalpers.

God i hope i manage to land the storm one. Shes always been my favorite x-man and the fact storm is my favorite strategy in general too? I dont think id play another commander deck for a very long time. I think if i dont manage to snag one this may be the first time in my life i buckle to scalpers man.

I hope that this SL is printed in enough quantity to give regular players a shot at picking up the ones they want. Iâd hate for scalpers to snatch them up in the first 3 minutes like weâve seen in the past.
