True story was, narco plane dropped cargo when feds were chasing them. Pilot and co pilot bailed out of the plane, pilot splattered, co pilot lived and was not charged since he had no idea what was being transported, pilot told him they were flying to the Bahamas. About the bear, found the duffle bag of coke, tore it open and ate the contents, ran about 100 yards and died of an overdose.

The movie is an hour and a half basically and even with that it drags .... so with that I understand how it could feel longer.
It feels like a tv special 45 mins long would've been long enough to keep one invested.

The only thing true about the movie is that a bear ate cocaine at one point. It overdosed, and that was about it. Lol

Cocaine bear is a 1 hour and 35 mins
Secondly, yes the first quarter of the movie is true. The guy with the cocaine and parachute died on impacted, but the bear taking cocaine probably lived more then 10-15 minutes max. There’s no way that bear couldn’t have gone on a killing spree.
But the movie was fucking hilarious and I enjoyed it!

Sadly John yes in the 1980s a bear did cocaine and overdosed on it in Georgia but they thought the story was funny and now it’s a national treasure in the City that it happened in
