Be great to see some more comments from people who have used this kit for a while. I've been sitting on the fence for a while now. Festool or Mirka? Happy to spend the money but don't want to regret buying one and not the other.

Plus you need to get Mirka vacuum and other bits. Wonder how it works on plaster though. Every sander vacuum combo I tried so far creates dust.

I've had the mirka system for 10 years. As a professional painter and decorator, i use it pretty much every single day and if I'm completely honest, i don't look after it as well as i should. In all that 10 years my extractor has never missed a beat, the bag has never shot off and filled the filter or worse the motor with dust and I've literally replaced the sander itself just earlier this year after 9 years service. Absolutely brilliant equipment, yes it is expensive but if you look at the time it saves on the job, it equates to pennies per day. I can recommend it 100%
