Microsoft Excel Tutorial: Happy Spreadsheet Day from Star Trek's Lt. Commander Shelby.
October 17 is SPREADSHEET DAY! This marks the anniversary of the October 17, 1989 release of the first spreadsheet - VisiCalc. For any
#StarTrek fans out there, we have a cool spreadsheet day message from Lt. Commander Shelby. I should have asked if
#Excel was still the dominant spreadsheet in the future.
Hey there, Excel fans! It's Bill Jelen here, and today we have a special treat for you. We have the lovely Elizabeth Dennehy, who played Lieutenant Commander Shelby on Star Trek Next Generation, wishing you all a happy Spreadsheet Day. And let's be real, who better to celebrate this day with than someone who has experience with the best of both worlds?
So, how's everyone doing? I hope you're all having a wonderful, geeky, nerdy day filled with adding, subtracting, and perfectly balancing your columns. And let's take a moment to appreciate the genius behind the invention of spreadsheets. I mean, imagine being the one to come up with that and how rich you'd be. Kudos to all the spreadsheet creators out there!
As we celebrate Spreadsheet Day on October 17th, let's take a moment to thank all the Excel wizards who bring order and organization to our mad, chaotic world. And a special shoutout to all the Excel fans who continue to use this powerful tool to make our lives easier. So, rock on everyone, and once again, happy Spreadsheet Day from Elizabeth Dennehy and the rest of the Star Trek crew. Live long and prosper!
