The kid is 9, she can wear white. My niece was wearing a lovely white dress for my wedding, she was 14. She doesn't usually wear dresses but she wanted to be extra pretty for my wedding. I love her so much â¤

I believe as long as the person is under 16, they may wear white- as the focus wonât be on children as much. Right? It will be more on adults and older teens such as 16+ but in some instances 16+âs can wear white. Such as if itâs dress code- like black & white. Or any colour more so because as the bride / groom have said itâs okay. But even if the brides wearing another colour then white, if they havenât stated that you may wear white then donât. Unless you ask and they say you may.

I had my flower children wear white. They are kids. No one cares what they wear. Itâs older guests. Also if the dress doesnât look like a wedding dress it is also fine but that really depends on what type of wedding it is as youâll probably be under dressed then.

When i was a kid i wore white to a wedding it was a very nice dress and i beg my mum to buy it and she did wore it to the wedding and i think cause i was a kid no one cared

I was a flower girl for my mom's friend's wedding and everything was black and white. I think the bride's dress was white( i don't remember) and the bridesmaids dresses were black and i wore a white dress with black accessories. It was very pretty. I think you just have to ask and see if there's a specific theme.

To be frank, most cultures have different colours as the marriage colour. In the West, it is traditionally white so I would avoid wearing that colour. But, there are some places like in India, where it is common to wear red, so to avoid that colour when at an Indian wedding.

I wore white at my Aunt's wedding a few years back. It was like a black and white skull theme so me and my sister went as Toothless and Light Fury, (I was Light Fury bc someone told me I couldn't being a boy.) It was a good time.

To me no I wouldnât but if the bride says that we would like me to I would still want to make sure a few times to see if sheâs okay but usually I always just wear like red since itâs what me and my twin brothers do at every wedding

I think in general terms not wearing white for western weddings should be followed. That said, if you're going to an unconventional wedding or another cultures wedding that has different rules, then I don't think it matters much at all. Despite that, I would just ask the bride up front about it for any worries about dress-code
