If anyone thinks this is hard to understand, i grew up right in between Glasgow and Edinburgh and can say without question that this is the Queens english compared to Aberdeenshire.

I'm from North Yorkshire near Teesside, and once I switched my brain into Yorkshire dialect instead of standard English, the east coast suddenly made perfect sense. The words are basically the same but just more Scottish. I can't speak it properly because my family weren't from Yorkshire, but I knew a lot of people who did.
