Fun fact: the ki missile is capable of basic ACM and can if piloted right evade air to air missiles both ir and radar and ive had friends use the ki as a target drone to practice interceptions
Unfortunately one of my friends lost a dog fight to the the thing in a mirage 3 because the drone forced and over shoot and he couldn't reverse it afterwards

You mean the missle that makes it incredible hard to hit anything at all because you have to stear it from your moving plane manualy at all times while having no good way to keep visual contact for the entire time. And then you might get one kill. Use the other japanese ,,guided missle,, instead. FOR THE EMPEROR.

This isnt the only cruise missile in the game. The USS Douglas is equipped with two.

The range unfortunately doesn’t offset the missiles flaws though.
First off, acceleration and speed is low so even though you fired from very far away you’re only a fraction of that distance away when the missile finally hits.
Secondly, every time you let go of the controls the missile resets its pitch and yaw and you’re always fighting against that.

The Japanese were so ahead of their time during WWII. They invented the first anti-tank and anti-ship guided weapons. (lunge mine, manned-glide bombs, and own plane).

12km on fuel, and then it declines at a 45°. so you technically can push the missiles range if you know where your target is.
personally i used this in air sim battles, it can 3 shot a base depending on the teir.
another thing to note, its an anti ship missile. and ontop of that, damage analysis showd that it has the same if not better damage outlook than the top teir german jets with anti-ship. missiles available. its all a matter of weak spots in the end.
