I don't have a lot to add to this one today.
In America we celebrate the 4th of July. Our independence, our freedom. Sometimes we may think it's not the best of situations. But I have had the privilege to be in other countries. And we have it really good here.
I say that as I write on my laptop listening to the neighbors shoot off fireworks. See what I mean.
But John 8:36 it says,
36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
Everyday we get to celebrate our freedom. Freedom from sin and death. Freedom from a life in hell. We get to go to the throne room every day and be in the presence of God. We get to spend a little bit of time in this world knowing we will spend eternity win Heaven with the creator, God almighty. That is freedom.
I encourage you to take a moment either by yourself or with your family and thank God for what He has done for you.
I love you have a safe holiday. And Jesus Christ loves you too!
