Eating animal fat doesn't make you fat. I would strongly recommend that you talk to your doctor or nutritionist and ignore this guys advice.

I used to go with the super lean beef but then i realized it is less flavorful, dryer, and much more expensive. If you drain the fat the difference isnโ€™t as big as you would think. I think 85/15 or even 90/10 is a good balance. Going for over 90% lean is a waste of money for a few more %. I did 73/27 recently simply because I wanted to make beef tallow as well in which case fattier the better.

Fat is extremely satiating.. fattier protein does not make you to eat more. Fatty carbs is the combination which makes you eat more. So just stick to the meat and experience how long this would keep you full

Stahhhhhp! Animal fat is not bad for you. Fat contributes greatly to satiety, which leads to eating smaller portions at a time.

Not to mention, weight loss is a multi pronged issue! Stop listening to people who give you BS in 30 seconds, like this guy.

What are you talking about?๐Ÿ˜‚ If you want to lose weight, cut carbs and sugar. Why do you give a platform for every 12 year old

You want more fat for burgers? Less fat for like meatloaf for lasagna?

People forget that the fat melts, so if you drain properly then lean or medium it doesn't matter as much as people think

This advice makes ZERO difference for an overweight person who is making poor food choices. And if that same person is eating the right foods and eliminating the processed junk, carbs, sugar and seed oils, then either of these meats will fit in fine with the fattier one being slightly better.

That fat content is what gives the most taste and it is not what makes you fat. Seek your doctors advice on nutrition, don't listen to this guy about it.

It does depend on what you do with it, but more importantly usually you want less fat and higher protein because of the calories and the fact that protein helps build muscle. Building muscle is good because it uses up fat stores to do so. You will need to find a good exercise routine, though, as just eating more protein will not do much on its own. This video makes it sound like "If you eat things high in fat, you get fatter" which is not necessarily true.

Please review what you said with a nutritionist. I mean a nutritionist who is up to date with 2024 state of science. Then make a second video.
