it's actually a great trick live, to play leads, if you are playing chug metal because the wah is all about midrange. So even if you just leave it cocked you solve that "no mids" issue when going to a lead.

Wah has been apart of metal an rock for who knows how long, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, George Harrison, Tommy James and the Shondells, Terry Kath from Chicago, Martin Barre from Jethro Tull, Tony Iommi from Black Sabbah, and many more. The Wah became synonymous with hard rock and psychedelic rock and with out those guys we wouldn’t have the different styles we have today and I may not agree with everything you say but I do thoroughly enjoy your videos and the lessons you show not to mention you calling out pompous “know it alls” so thank you for doing what you’re doing sir!
