In his book Schrödinger said that one of the foundations of western science is that the world was objectified in the sense that human consciousness was removed from it. In order for the human mind to study it it had to remove itself from it. So this attempt to use science to explain consciousness isn’t hard - it’s impossible

Interesting… Just as the air and lights are full of pictures, and there is a broad spectrum of electromagnetic waves… It takes our eyes to focus those waves within a limited band into images. So we… Our minds are receivers tuned to consciousness and tuned by consciousness. But now, of course, we’re coming to see that consciousness Exists in all living things… Consciousness or awareness, or interconnectivity or stimulus/response feedback loop.
