Aren't tides in FL quite mild though? Like, average change of a couple feet? Of course you do still need to keep track of them, but it's not like some places where the average vertical tide change is like, 15ft

When I was 7 years old until age 10 I've lived in Daytona Beach Florida and I can remember seeing vehicles in the same situation where people just didn't realize that there is a low tide and a high tide and I have seen more than one vehicle go through the same situation such a shame that people don't have the insight to realize the tide is rising eventually

I lived in Daytona Beach for a time many years ago and one night we spent the night on the beach and someone with a brand new Vette decided to stay the nite too except they parked to close to the water. The tide came in over night and the Vette was in about knee deep water in the morning. The guy was pissed but he learned a lesson.
