It's sad that kids just don't care about step parents I am 15 amd I am human and mature enough that if a step parent loves me and my bio parent juts don't even care that much I am NOT choosing the bio parent idc that blood runs thinker water I just live to be happy and not have many regrets when I die... most kids who choose their bio parent that is not very much in contact over there loving step parent is bc they are attention seekers and are looking for their bio parents approval it's sad that kids are just so dumb

Being a stepfather doesn't ever work unless the biological parent is 100% not involved.
The biological parents are just meant to be together because everything else will be a competition and the child will have no respect for the step father and the wife will have no respect for her new husband's wishes........ sorry brother wish it was anyway different.
