I can understand where OP is coming from. Like they were planning to get married and he still didnt trust her enough to tell her he was diagnosed with cancer. Also he won't tell her why he doesnt trust her. I would be questioning my relation ship too.

My bfs dad had cancer for years and didnât say anything to him till he was saying goodbye so knowing how betrayed that made him feel and after hearing how it made her feel I donât think sheâs in the wrong at all itâs super hard to hear that the one you love has their life at risk and thatâs important for them to consider how youâd feel aswell when you choose to have a life partner

As soon as trust is gone you are allowed to break up with the person, at least thatâs my rule. If you donât want to be with them, donât. Thereâs no point in staying just because you feel bad. I can see why the bf is upset but no one should keep that big of a secret in a relationship that needs trust.

The fact that he was going to marry you and not tell you that he could possibly be on his deathbed is messed up in so many ways, and the fact that he didnât trust you enough to tell you is even more messed up. BTA. Don't get me wrong, he definitely should have told OP he had brain cancer. But if this is her reaction to finding out, I kinda understand why he might not trust her.
Plus... It's brain cancer. He probably didn't know how to handle it. Many people who have terminal illnesses have a very hard time coping with it and she prioritized her hurt feelings over him literally dying soon.

My husband said AH cuz you decided to prove he was right not to trust you and he deserves someone who actually loves him. It's clear you never loved him cuz he is going through something so scary and may or may not kill him. And instead of being with him you left him. He was right and dodged a bullet.
