Have an aunt who is a teacher. She told a story about how one of her HS students was scared. She said she told her, "Truthfully, Canada is an 8 hour drive from here. It is privileged to be able to consider it." It's something I'm thinking about now, and about how I'm in a privileged position to be able to think about it. I might just say fuck it, learn French, and move to Nova Scotia. Canada has a lot of problems too, I have some bones to pick with Trudeau, but I also have a full catacomb to pick with Trump and Republicans in general.

I need kids to know that the world is not their responsibility right now.
Yes, it affects you, but all kids need to do right now is go to school, and/or work, and learn to love yourself and the world around you. So that, one day, when you DO get to play a more consequential part in the world, you do it from a place of love, empathy, and joy rather than hate, stress, and anger

my condolences for American folks here, I feel your pain. I really want to share my feelings, and I think it’s a safe place to do so. Disclaimer: I don’t want to diminish your fear and pain in any way, I am truly sorry that this’ve happened.
I live in Russia, and seeing what is happening in the US is very dual and odd. On the one hand it awful that the Conservative party won, but on the other hand, for me US seems to be one of the most liberal and free countries. Here in Russia I’ve never had a real right to choose, I’ve never could be open about my sexuality and so on. Even a rainbow flag is banned in my country (it sounds like an exaggeration, but it’s true). It’s just… so hard to watch American folks debate over stuff we don’t have. it’s devastating to understand that we don’t have basic human and civil rights, and don’t really can do something about it.
I just needed to share this. I am sorry for your situation, and hope that everyone will be safe. One day the world will be safe and open to LGBTQ+ community) ❤

Thank you for this, I really needed it. I'm a pre-medical transition trans guy who isn't in a situation where i can come out to my family (who I still lived with) nor get a chest binder. This election has genuinely caused me so much stress that my chest has felt tight/ been hurting all day. I'm worried that once I can get out of my bigoted household that I won't be able to transition legally nor medically.
But luckily I've got a good chosen family. And hey, I'm still here and thriving (ish)! You can't take down this queer artist!!

THANK YOU!!! As someone who’s pansexual, psychically disabled in several different ways, and mentally ill (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, and complex PTSD), I really needed this today. It genuinely feels like the world as we know it is coming to an end. I’m terrified of what Trump will do to healthcare, LGBTQ+ rights, and disability rights such as the Americans with Disabilities Act. If I don’t comment on these videos for a while, I may or may not have emigrated to a different country for the next four years or I’ve decided to bury myself under a rock and hibernate 😂😂😂😂(No, but seriously…I’m strongly considering it). My thoughts, prayers, and positive energy is with the LGBTQ+ people in the U.S., as well as the fellow disabled people in this country, and the women of this country in general. ❤❤❤❤

I am not American.
I am a queer teen from Europe, and I’m still scared.
I am not scared for me, I am scared for my queer sibilings, I am scared for the thousands of people who are going to loose their rights.
I wish I could do something to help, if I can, let me know.
I wish you all the best, keep fighting, unite, toghether you’ll be stronger

i am a young queer person and i wanna say thanks for making these videos so people feel seen. i also wanna add that if the president wants to pass a new law or bill or something then it has to go through the other branches of government and i think some people forget that, my mom reminds me that the president can’t just go “i wanna get rid of this” and then poof it happens. i also feel like most things are/will be by state and what the state says

This!! This exactly!!! As long as you are breathing they have not won yet. Do what you need to, cry, scream, shout, break something, and once that’s done brush yourself off and do what you can do, volunteer, protest, speak out, be there for each other. We are going to make it through this if it kills us.
