I use washy tape for water colors. So white on white isn’t my first choice. Still cute though!

I personally use washi tapes for scrapbooking, so the background isn’t going to necessarily be white which doesnt look great if the washi tape is translucent

I also love white background with minimalist design because they do not distract me from reading or writing. Sometimes to much decoration with colorful decoration looks very odd to me . Otherwise both colorful and white background are very beautiful equally. Sometimes white looks calming and peaceful , more comfortable and sometimes colorful looks good , depends where we are using them and who is using them .
