Sad for victims involved, but seems kinda sus that of all the places in the world, it's Tennessee where a "trans" person has committed this atrocity. Tennessee seems like one of the worst places in the world for trans ppl and where the most anti trans bills are being put in place. This seems very coincidental, and only further increases the likelihood of further anti trans propaganda/bills etc.

I am a transwoman and I have many friends who are gun-owners and they are the most responsible people you will ever meet. They make sure they handle their weapons following the gun safety laws, and lock it up tight when it's not in use. These acts aren't caused by them. Cis men arent to blame just as Trans Men aren't to blame. Its always been a Mental health issue. That is what needs to be addressed. What drives a person to kill innocent children? Focusing only on labels in these conversations will only hurt our community, because now the right can use transgenderism as a scapegoat. Which they are right now and saying that it was the HRT that caused lead them to violence. Maybe harsher gun laws will fix the problems, but I don't think so. This issue goes a lot deeper than firearm restrictions. It's very heartbreaking that this happened. My thoughts and prayers go to the victims and their families.
