For the past three years Im fighting the urge to carry too much speed into the corner. Its incredibly hard to do this, especially under pressure.

I do try this but sometimes the back steps out and I have to keep making steering adjustments while in the corner and end up losing time. Just like you said, right on the limit of grip, I need more practice. Not enough power in the corner and you lose lots of time too especially in a 2 stroker where the power has to build up.

What about breaking while still feeding the power?

So how do you know which type of corner this is applicable on? Maybe a good video idea for you would to be how to identify which type of corners need certain braking techniques perhaps?

This is very important with low speed corners in electric karts - electric motors struggle from very low speeds, so getting the turning done earlier and punching out with more RPMs can shave seconds off your laps.

What about in electric karting ? Because you have instant power is it better to go for a slower in into a fast out ?

I started out first round at 58.8 seconds (my father Watching my time and score) and I used no brake in the last 5 rounds, I more of used gas to manoeuvre the Turn, i bested the 9th round with 43.2 seconds according to my father and alst round was sabotaged by an angry kid who braked Infront of me making me stop entirely 🙄 all i know im grateful dad told me to followe the apex line

What about when ur weight is 105kg? Brake or liffting of the gas?

Just went karting with a couple of friends yesterday and I must say these techniques helped me go 1.5 seconds quicker between qualifying and the race. Getting a good exit and not sliding out of the corners helped me battle with faster drivers.
