Pete should show up in every world in a really bad disguise while barely trying to hide who he is, some fights he's like a regular enemy that just suddenly pops up in a normal battle other times he's a difficult boss

It’s definitely gonna be interesting to see what direction Disney and Square Enix will take Maleficent and Pete in Kingdom Hearts 4 and future games in general. I mean there’s really nothing else they now do. Unless they try to take the black box from Luxu, which I wouldn’t even attempt to do if I were in their shoes. Maybe they’ll join the good guys. Who knows? I doubt that of course but I have to agree with Regular Pat. Those two have basically become the team rocket of kingdom hearts. It’s not even a competition at this point!

You also fight him in re-coded and 358/2 days, and to be honest. I wish Pete had wider move set. Either have him make more use of his size and fists, and or conjuring up more Toon weapons. Heck even casting a few lesser known spells from the FF series might make him a tougher opponent.

I think the craziest part about every fight with pete, aside ddd one, is that he basically shrugs it off like no big deal and no real damage done at all, that man is more durable than the organization XIII members are, onfact he might be among most durable characters in kingdom hearts

One of the many reasons I love recoded is the fact that Pete is legitimately scary in that game. He gets control over the datascape, he almost kills data riku, and the big boss fight of hollow bastion is against him, and it's a legitimate stiff challenge.

It’s so crazy how Maleficent were basically seen as the main villains in the first half of kingdom hearts 2, then the script completely flips and Organization XIII are revealed to be the true villains of the game. I mean granted it was kind of obviously, but the way the direction of the game changed like is still unbelievable to this day. Like Pete just disappeared from the story of that game until you get to the world that never was where him and Maleficent tried to invade the castle, which obviously was never gonna work in a million years. Before kingdom hearts coded or recoded came out I thought they would’ve died in the castle to help Sora and the others out.
