You’ll never believe where the grumbles came from. In floor 2 we see the grumble nest with 7 grumbles and queen grumble. but where did queen grumble come from? We know the giggles are baby grumbles but strangely enough Seek chooses to only corrupt the giggles and only goes for the queen after she is away from the nest. This means that seek who we know has some relation to mischievous light due to his red aura and his importance in doors hates the grumbles but isn’t powerful enough to just overtake them right then and there, making me believe that the grumbles came from either curious light or one of the beings that marked the celestials which is why

OR they are actually natural creatures and are just a species that happens to have come in contact with seek. I sincerely doubt they are related to any of the celestials at all.

The grumbles actually were made from a different universe the reason they are in war with seek is because that the grumbles are so powerful that seek wants that power and seek on targets queen grumble when she's outside the nest and the grumbles made the tunellls themselves screech was made as a giggle but saw some black goo and touched it and then he had the feeling to lurk in dark places like as seek has a place where he stays and targets party grumble at all times when he is alone since he's on a run to the hotel but seek is controlled by micheivous light due to its aura and is on a full progress to corrupt every single entity. Fun fact this is all on tablet and my fingers hurt really badly rip my fingers😭😭

My theory: it starts with a giggle 1st state of growing into a grumble 2nd an un-infected schreech that can get infected (i think seek likes to infect the older ones) then a grumble the growing stops here but one grumble is picked by the other grumbles to become a queen by over feeding the picked grumble becomes a queen (that scar on queen grumbles forhead is from over feeding) i dont know what happens after that so its the end of this comment

I think that grumbles are a natural/native species to the mines as they have a lot of adaptations, but mischievous light is with seek or powers seek and guiding light is with us so I think guiding light protects the nest to not make screeches as they harm the players from seek but you may say grumbles kill the player will you invade the nest they're protecting their queen guiding light wants a balance(I forgot to say smth when we escape seek in the mines the first time we see a guiding light barrier)

What if that curious made the grumbles to actually stop seek but the curious light just does not know that seek is more strong. And I think at the end of the year will maybe the floor 3 come out with seek and seek grumble

Seek didn't attack grumbles there because he can't take on all of the at once

In chapter 3, seek infected figure he has infected screech so seek I mean like seek has the mischievous light inside him that's why he glows red.So the mischievous light is a bad light it appears when u have modifiers so seek was normal without red aura but the mischievous light corrupted him so he made his brain to attack all the people even figure.

I think Mischevious light made the grumbles since Mischevious light is the only one who can create those type of entities, Overall when we crucifix a Grumble or the Queen Grumble Mischevious light stops Guiding light from doing crucifix so thats why i think its Mischevious light.

Heres my idea: seek isn't actually evil hes just controlled by mischievous light... So he could help the player and guiding light to escape. now mabye mischievous ligth will now take over figure. But we are hinted that figure is controlled by curios (by the light) mabye the 3 articles will FIGTH each other. So then the player guiding light and seek could escape the hotel. (Forgot to mention, seek was a human and then he got infected by the goo)

Here's a theory - creds to unsurprise's animations:
Seek and the Grumble species had a war with each other however, seek was the one who attacked the grumbles to get power and wanted to be a God, immortal, as if not even the almighty gods can defeat him. The Grumble species' only goal to protect the nest at all cost no matter if the players are innocent or trying to kill us, they must protect the nest, because they can't trust anyone easily. Seek attacked the Queen grumble and infected her, the grumbles now have a second queen as we know, so the grumbles are still on their way to protect their nest, they do not want harm to anyone who don't care about what the grumbles do but all that matters for the grumbles is to protect the nest, even tho they don't want to harm the innocent ones.
"Any black ink moldy goop of mine even a sip of it or a . (Point) Ml of it touched to anyone, whether the grumbles, the humans, or the worst of my enemy I have to help, figure, they will become a part of my goop and will be my slave helpers, so I can rule the world."
Seek also meant it by the badge "You can run but you can't um.. um... Uh..." that it was about to give us message, which we couldn't notice until floor 2. The mischevious light is extremely close to seek. Afterall, since you said the grumbles came from the curious, it's actually nothing. The Grumbles have been in the mines for a very long time and the Grumbles are the only final boss of the under mine.
The giggles are trained by the elder grumbles or let's say the Queen. Curious light is neither good, nor evil, it's neutral and it's hard to find it out. As I used the voice acting for guiding light, she said "I'll take care of Seek." Was very neutral but angry at the same time and for the grumbles "you're about to face something dangerous, keep going I'll take care of it." But it was a bit relaxing.
The war will not end until seek will not get it's revenge on the grumbles. If you see the ending of floor 2, the Queen grumbles just comes, but did we see her attack seek when seek tried to harm her? No. Seek is very related to mischievous light. The Grumbles don't want to harm, but if that's what other want, they have to do that they can protect the nest and themselves.
Theory, not sure but I can tell it's almost real.

The queen only lived longer than the grumbles before and deafeated seek. In the grumble nest there is just 7 grumbles and currupted giggles. So my theory is that seek is trying to make giggles screech so he can stop the makings of grumbles and deafeat him. Grumbles could not been from guiding light or curious light or we would be friends with the grumbles and help them take down seek.
