Yes...after living in SoCal for 40 years, I went home to NE PA anthracite coal country to see family. One Walmart, 30 miles away. I have FOUR Walmarts within 12 miles of me. One pizza bar. No delivery. One Chinese restaurant. No delivery. All other restaurants were 40 or more miles away. No taxi service to get back to the airport for the flight home. Car rental was 15 miles away. No fabric stores. No knitting shops. No car dealers. No bus service. One pharmacy and one dollar junk store. The words to an old song kept running through my head: "How are ya gonna keep 'em down on the farm after they've seen Paree???"
