I’m experiencing the same!! But I’m Chilean and I passed through the same in Australia with my English till I learned, so I know it is just about time and keep trying, it’s not easy but the clue it’s not stopping just trying and trying and every day you get better and better! I‘m also very insecure when speaking in another language (I‘m German) but let me tell you, nobody cares when you don‘t speak it correctly. We appreciate you giving your best especially with German since it’s not the easiest language to learn.

Diana, when I was at my university, I took 4 semesters of German. I would get so nervous! I passed the classes ok, but I still couldn’t speak correctly.
Being in America there was not any immersion. I could read mentally, and figure it out, but the speaking I was so disappointed ☹️
Try not to feel bad! Is there some one you can’t be with to practice 🙂

Dont give up trying!!! Me as someone who lives learnung languages amd has done some exvhanges to different countries I can very much relate and I know how it feels 😅 but in the end you need to speak to learn how to speak and you can't avoud msking mistakes. Its ok! Everybody makes mistakes and in the end you will regret not talking because then you didnt learn how to talk. Also me as a German I dont mind if you make mistakes❤ and if I would correct you I would never make it to embarass you but for you to lear

No Prob! Actually I don't understand how most eastern europeans manage to learn German quite fast and manage to speak it.
I'd never want to force someone to learn German, if I wasn't a native speaker I guess I'd never manage that.
But no matter how bad you think your German is, I'd never find it embarassing or make you feel bad about it.

As a german I can tell you we really dont mind you speaking english with us but we appricate you trying to speak german. Learning a language takes time and german can be quite hard
