As Muslims, we are required to love one another and to wish and inculcate love among people regardless of our colour, race, religion, or identity. However, this does not mean dissolving our identity or blindly copying and imitating othersโ traditions and practices.
So, It is not permissible to celebrate these innovated festivals like (Valentines day, Halloween etc) because it is an innovation for which there is no basis in Islam. It comes under the heading of the hadith of โAishah (may Allah be pleased with her), according to which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: โWhoever introduces anything into this matter of ours that is not part of it will have it rejected.โย
Finally, eid or festival in Islam are act of worship because it is what was ordained for us to celebrate (which include eid-el-fitri, eid-el-kabir) and therefore we don't engage in any festival blindly....May Allah guide us. (amiin)

Iam evangelic Christian and daddy teached that valentines day is related to a saint ..and than in France happen a genicide that made the water of the river red ..so valentines day is a commerce a pagan day we should not participate in such day .
