You give very apt descriptions. Longostino, for me has a "mini" lobster taste also in regards to overall flavor but has the same texture as crawfish. Not as "rubbery" (I know when it's cooked properly it isn't) as lobster

How did you cook? In spain these are called Cigalas. Best to pan sautĂŠ in olive oil and a season with a flakey salt. This is premium eating in Europe. Check where packaged. Give them another go, but get larger ones.

I like your content. My best oyster, Santa Catarina Brazil! Butter…..

It looks like a mix between prawns and lobsters - like a prawn body with lobster claws. You and jacob knowles make me crave crabs/lobsters so much and Ive never had them.

Glad you used it even though it wasn’t frozen! Great time to try the sauce too

I love your content, longest thing is good but yeah you're right there's not a lot of me. Your better off with a crawfish boil.
Unrelated note consider H-Mart and buy just random seafood because they have so much selection. Maybe you could grill some eel

This is a popular seafood in Mexico, called Langostines, if you find an seafood spot or “Marsicos” spot, you should try the dish! Made into soups, or just plated with rice, garlic bread, avocado, and spicy sauces

Eating this right after opening was a good idea and you nearly saved yourself from a bad case of food poisoning.

The tail meat was already crumbling and is an indicator of it starting to rot, this isn't true for all crustaceans, but it's my personal indicator of freshness.

My background is a seafood connoisseur in my home country.

If you want to try our seafood, find Pacific Mantis Shrimp, Slipper Crabs, Stonefish, and maybe some Pacific spiny lobster, trust me, you will not regret

Scampi originally referred to Langoustine before it became a more general term for shrimp/lobster shellfish and the dish
