I LOATHED Christopher to NO END throughout the series, but I fully agreed with him here, and only here. Lorelai's issues are HER OWN. No one else's. I understand what she was trying to do, but it all came out wrong. She needs to seek therapy, not trauma dump on Chris and Luke.

I kind of understand where chris is coming from. Lorelei has always ran away from her lovers, even with chris she left to stars hollow without him, and now shes trying to pretend it was his fault and not her own characteristic.
Also keep in mind that Chris still had love for her, and she was basically telling him shes done with him. Like he was a stain on her life and her life is gonna be perfect now that shes come to this revelation that he was always the problem.

Considering Chris made a habit of walking into Lorelei and Rory’s lives whenever it suited HIM, and later very deliberately sabotaged Lorelei’s relationship with Luke, I don’t think he had the right to be angry at her about this. She said she needed closure and this was her way of getting it, and that she was glad Chris was having his own heathy and happy relationship now. That’s not a fight starter.
