Here is another satisfying process video for one of my favourite cake designs; the checkered chess cake with edible dark and white chocolate chess pieces, ganache, chocolate drip and lots and lots of sprinkles! The inside is a fluffy sesame and coconut checkered chiffon sponge, stacked with deliciously creamy and perfectly sweet fresh stabilized whipped cream. This cake definitely took me longer to make and decorate as I had to create the checkered pattern on the inside, the razor sharp edges, and also the chess pieces and the other decorating took more effort than my other usual cakes. This is one of my favourite designs as it gives off vintage vibes ✨🕰🗝✨and I love the how the chocolate looks on top of the pure white cake. Overall I really enjoyed the process and the final look.
