My 95’ has Fender flairs only on the back fenders and I do have seat covers, but no linex not even in the bed, it also has 440k miles on it so it is Clapped tbf.

I think rust adds character it shows that you use it for what it's intended to and that sort of thing that's why I really don't care about rust. On my 2010 f150 I say the rust adds character. The rust hasn't got to the frame yet. So I would just let the rust do its thing and I drive it till it dies. For the frame splits in half because of the rust.
