I’m not gonna lie, these are pretty bad reasons to ghost someone. This happens also in the US. People ghost because, despite the expectation to further express your discontent in where the conversation is going, the person simply decides to waste your time and leave you hanging and leaves you without any closure as to why they weren’t interested. The women in the US, albeit honestly lie, do a tad better in suggesting things like “we don’t share the same vibe/chemistry” but at least it’s an answer. Of course people don’t owe you anything but expectations are another thing when you have been communicating with them prior and there’s the expectation that further communication will come. It is just, in my opinion, pretty lazy and immature to do. A simple ごめなさい could suffice. On the other end, a person’s desire for closure may make them seem entitled for a detail/ “good-enough” answer which would be a lot of pressure for a girl to respond to. I have been let down pretty easy by many women so I have been pretty lucky from that but there has been many women whom I had felt weren’t my type, I told them and they pretty much insulted me despite me giving them an answer as to why I wasn’t interested so, considering this, it sorta does makes sense but it can be considered rude to men in the west because we both can be busy and leaving without notice can be considered inconsiderate.
