I was watching a Miracle on the Hudson. Captain Sullivan and his co- pilot had just taken off from New York in their airliner. They had climbed to 3K feet, and experienced several Canada Geese striking their two engines. He famously saved all hands by landing, with no engines, on the Hudson River.
Those geese migrate twice/ year. So there is a known pocket of time, easily calculated, of when the geese will be passing through the area. Predators of Canada Geese are Eagles. If you know when the geese are migrating in your flight path, why couldnāt an eagleās cry be sounded from the plane, to scare off the geese.
Perhaps within a generation or two of the geeseās life, they might change their migratory path outside of the flight path.
