Hey folks! Today, weā€™re diving into Mark 4:35-41 from the New King James Version (NKJV). This passage tells the incredible story of Jesus calming the storm, showcasing his power and authority over nature. Weā€™ll break down what happens in these verses, discuss the deeper meaning, and see how this story can inspire us in our own lives.

Mark 4:35-41 (NKJV): "On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, 'Let us cross over to the other side.' Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, 'Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?' Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace, be still!' And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, 'Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?' And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, 'Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!'"

Join me as we unpack this powerful moment, explore the disciples' reactions, and reflect on the lessons we can learn about faith and trust in Godā€™s power. Whether youā€™re familiar with this story or hearing it for the first time, there's something here for everyone.

I was broken, my other 2 children and 3 grandsons (our daughterā€™s)were brokenā€¦..I couldnā€™t help myself and I couldnā€™t help anyone else! Itā€™s been over 12 yrs since that day we lost her, BUT I know exactly where she is! I hold on to that and it eases the brokenness of my heart šŸ˜¢
