ATC was clearly stressed and made mistake. Question: If pilots can visually see an approaching problem, or perhaps cannot see and verify safe conditions, I would hope [-like a go-around override] that they are permitted to override the command, in this case, hold their safe position on ground, and then be able to question the command - without repercussions. I am not a pilot. And also I am not exactly sure if the SW plane had visual of the incoming traffic. Seems like they did once they were rolling, just by the way they hurried up. Anyway it seems that it would not take but a moment to sort out and be in the safe side.

With great excitement and much commotion my granddaughter noticed a glass of champagne fell from the table of a guest in first class and smashed onto the floor, upon checking the staff realised that Dame Collins had dropped her glass and to compensate her they presented Dame Collins with a bottle of perfume upon leaving the aircraft, my granddaughter noticed that upon landing the aircraft felt very fast and quite a bumpy landing. The captain kindly announced to the passengers that we had reached our destination in good time.

I like how she makes it seem like Southwest is the one that made the mistake. lineup and wait means lineup on the runway and wait for clearance. should've been a hold short in there somewhere instead. controller didn't just drop the ball but spiked it
