My humble suggestion is that for people who want to observe people and learn to predict / preempt traffic as the video suggests (especially the newer drivers / riders), do this as a pedestrian at a footpath or looking out of your window (at home) or as a passenger in a vehicle etc. please don't go observing people while you are driving and riding / driving unless such observations have already become second nature to you.

Tips .
1 People turn first and indicate later . maintain predictive gap lateral n longitudinal
2 race to the red light and stop abrupt .. predict the light,smoother inputs to the machine to be present and predictable to others n reduce maintenance cost.
3. Attention and sequence blindness.. Start the bike..ride ..side stand up ..
Lights .. forgotten..
Subliminal check list for safe and accurate ride safety.
4. Bright headlight from opposite side.. natural tendency is to look into the light that's a straight way to the Er surgical table.
Avoid retaliation with own 60watt high beam as overcompensation and insted consciously look away to the edge of the road while maintaining peripheral vision.
5.incedant flabbergasophiilia .. any non standard event on the road for example a cop checking ahead or an accident gives full emmerson to the people who are riding/driving on the road as much as they forget that they are riding into the rear(#movement name possible) .
Eyes on the road mind here an now .

Driving in Switzerland also helps simplify some of these scenarios. In most cases there are simple rules that prioritize based on right of the first move. Let the one with the first mover right do what he has to do, and only then proceed once it is your turn. Its different in India where its all about in the moment anticipation and synchronization while on the move. I think we should bring in some of these priority based rules. Simple ones.

In India these advice needs to be customised state to state and sometimes even city to city. If you use the principles and rules of driving in Hyderabad to Kerala for example you might not only end up with thousands of rupees of fine in a single day but also end up at the wrong end of a first. Similarly lessons learned in bombay should be completely unlearned before driving in delhi. Though better still never drive in delhi or go to delhi

watching tyres is something I picked up on the highway, especially on twisties. You think the truck or SUV ahead of you is swerving lanes while turning, but watching the tyres(in relation to the lane markings) tells you very clearly what kind of driver is at the wheel.
So on highway curves, I've noticed that truck and lorry drivers are disciplined(they carve the lane with precision), while buses and vans and SUVs are accelerating through the turn so they will start the turn on one lane and end in a different lane
