Proverbs 18:21 Life and Death are in the Tongue
Today you've probably done a lot of speaking. At work or at home. To family or friends. Through out today what did you talk about? Was it good or bad?
Did it have God's word wrapped up in it?
When you were talking did you speak about the bills or praise God that they were paid.
God's word has life. And all through the Bible things wee spoken into existence. When spoken to bodies were raised from the dead and trees were cursed when they didn't bare fruit.
Our words have impact on how our life turns out. The Bible gives us an outline on how we should live and what we should say. It says right there in Proverbs that the tongue has the power to give life and death. Which one will you choose today? And what about tomorrow?
I encourage you today to read over this scripture a few times today, and speak it out loud for your ears and mind to hear your voice saying it. And just think about what these words mean and get them deep in your heart. That way when you do speak it's automatically God's words and not what the World says about a situation.
