correction: it blew up because it had brandished a revolutionary ai that could problem solve and learned from what you did the last time you tried entering the house.
that’s what made the neighbour truly terrifying in the trailer because it knew how to use the environment just like the player.

I don’t think many people know this , but there’s a couple hello neighbor books! They’re definitely better than the game, and have stronger story telling that goes deeper into the neighbor’s past, and it’s pretty cool to see, I would definitely suggest getting the books if you like Hello Neighbor.
(Apparently they’re also making a Hello Neighbor Movie! Which is supposedly written by one of the writers on the FNaF Movie)
