It doesnt work that way but, still you have to stay motivated to keep going in life. The amount of "suffering" in life you're supposedly gonna experience, its not based on how hard you work or how much you are productive. So be motivated? Yes. Be motivated to stop suffering? More, like to be stronger and to keep evolving in different aspects of my existence.

What most people get wrong about sacrifices ⬇️
Sacrifice means: to give up something important or valued for the sake of other considerations.
If you decide to spend your precious time working on something good for you rather than scrolling on your phone or playing video games, that’s not considered a sacrifice. Choosing not to care about the popular high schoolers partying is not a sacrifice because those things aren’t important. YOU decide what’s important because you are the one with the potential to make the future you want. The work you put in today will pay you back a hundred times over.
Interestingly, it’s not actually pain at that point. Because for me, when I knew what my values were, it wasn’t a difficult choice. I balanced the important things: family, close friends who also cared about self-improvement, health and fitness, mental health. It’s easy to misunderstand delayed gratification - If you’re able to watch this video, choosing the “10 years of pain” doesn’t actually mean working 24/7. I’m sure there’s plenty of time most of us waste each day that reprioritizing will actually bring balance to your life.
The freedom you get later is freedom of choice. When you build your human capital at a young age when you have the safety net of parents, a home, or other things you won’t have later, you will have future choices that other people won’t. But you have one choice you can make today, right now.
“Regret of not trying is much heavier than regret of failure. What do you want to carry?”
