Here’s something similar, but evidently safer and very reasonably priced. I bought various models during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Check out the Slice “Safe” Line of Ceramic box cutters. A small, fifth-pocket-sized one is currently $11. Then there is the large one that my wife prefers to use; it’s only $18.
Me? I still prefer using a knife with a thin, slicey blade like the CIVIVI Sendy designed by Ben Petersen. A Green Micarta one is in my pocket right now. The knife features a flipper and, at 93mm, falls within the same size class as the 91mm "Medium," standard-size Victorinox Swiss Army Knife.
I have a Guibortia Wood one on my desk.
My only issue is that Sendy uses a liner lock instead of a finger-safe Button Lock or a Crossbar Lock. (So, Pay Attention! LOL! )

I mean, for work purpose it's pretty neat... Have one of those as a box opener. Haven't had a problem despite opening/closing it about a hundred or two times a day for almost a year. The blade is held solid and does not wiggle, but you'll need a tool (usually comes with it) to change it... If you're working retail and need a small box cutter that also looks more to your liking (grips do come in a selection of colours), this one's definitely an option...

This is an absolutely beautiful knife — no doubt about it. However, I truly believe that for a knife to qualify as a solid EDC (everyday carry), it should include at least a two-headed screwdriver and a bottle opener. Those are the tools most people actually need in daily life.
If this knife had those two simple additions, it would’ve been perfect. Why? Because most theme parks, events, or even TSA checkpoints don’t allow knives. With a design that lets you remove the blade, you could simply discard it when needed and replace it later at your destination.
So, while I wouldn’t call this the perfect EDC, it’s still an excellent knife — just not an everyday carry in the truest sense.
