I canāt help but think that Kurt would be so happy to see Dave continuing to live the life he does. Drug free, with a family, and being arguably one of the best songwriters in his own right.
Dave Grohl is one of my heroes for so many reasons, heās what I always aspired to be as a musician. He does everything to serve the song, and he takes it one song at a time.
I wouldnāt have picked up a guitar, a drum stick, or started writing my own music if it wasnāt for Nirvana, and the Foo Fighters.

They each were perfect for Nirvana. There was no need for any overly complex musicianship or crazy solos. They each played and sang perfectly for the music they made. They were amazing songwriters. That's all they ever needed to be.
