Think back to a time when you were outside in the summer, exercising or any other situation where you go really thirsty. When we need water, out bodies let us know. Then remember how it felt when you got that cold refreshing drink and how satisfying it was. David felt that same desire for God. He wrote about it in Psalm 42, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?" You can meet with God anytime and any place. Whenever you are thirsty, refreshment is there.
